Reading, writing, and storytelling has been a part of my journey since I was a child. I find value in almost all stories, and recognize that, as an educator, I explain through story all the time. I have been writing and honing the craft of storytelling with the intent of sharing ideas, inspiring imagination, and moving through a story and turn it into knowledge.

There are often words or phrases that I hear throughout the day which end up in my idea notebook. Most of those thoughts tend to be gibberish when I look back at them, but then some grow into stories. Some are short, others are longer, but all came from thinking through my interactions with the world around me. I encourage all to pay attention - you never know when the next story idea might hit!
